Tip - Peppers And Green Onions
PEPPERS AND GREEN ONIONS

If your garden has gone into overdrive or if you just can't
resist buying more peppers and onions than you can use right away,
try this quick and easy way to freeze them.
Slice and de-seed green, red or yellow peppers. Chop coarsely and
place in a freezer container with a tight fitting lid. Freeze.
When ready to use simply chip out as much pepper as you want or
need. You can do this with green onions too, tops and all.
Use these chopped frozen bits when you want the flavor and color
of peppers and/or green onions in soups, stews or sauces. For
salads or stir fry fresh is best.
