Tip - Freezing Affects Flavors

Freezing enhances some flavors and degrades others. It increases the
flavor of cloves, garlic, and pepper; it diminishes the strength of
sage, salt, and onion. Green pepper may change the flavor of a frozen
casserole and may be best if added upon reheating, rather than to the
original mixture.
